I was excited to finally find the town of Kittanning, PA. My grandfather was born there on 14 April 1855 and I could never find the lovely town on the map. I have enjoyed the pictures and comments, and because of reading about the helpful attitude of the courthouse and library staff hope to visit there soon to do some genealogy research on my grandfather, Robert Eaton Boothe and his family, who I believe were farmers in the area.
