Commissioners and recent flooding

I read with some interest about Commissioner Scahill's recent heroics during the flooding at the courthouse. Now he knows how the residents of South Bethlehem felt during the flood of July 1996.

It took the county commissioners five days to tour the area. Commissioner Scahill blithely observed to a resident who was shoveling mud and sewage out of her garage, "It looks like you didn't get much flood damage."

Karma, man. Karma.
