: : : : If everything is going so well in this country, why do so many people hate Bush? I have never seen this with another president? Is this administration that greedy and evil? Has terror actually increased worldwide in the past 3+ years?
: : : First of all - what is going well in this country?? I work for a government program (WIC) and our caseload across the state is higher than its ever been, unemployment is up, jobs are down. What's going well??
How many of you shouter's dont bother to vote,Or how many of you are combat veterans. And really have an idea about what is going on.
: : : Second, I don't like the word "hate", to me its one of the 'bad words' because expending energy in 'hate' is never a good thing.
: : : Anyways, I don't like Bush because #1 - he wasn't an elected president. I don't care what anyone says, the fact that Florida was the wishy/washy state, and Bush's close relation is governor of Florida, is rather fishy. Also, we only sent approx 2000 people to Afghanistan to wage war on Osama bin Ladin, yet we have how many soldiers in Iraq right now waging a war that was not necessary. I do support our soldiers, because they are only doing their job. But for a commander in chief to start a war with another country because of the elusive WMD, and then admit "well, there ain't none, but they would've threatened us someday so better that we get them first", that's just wrong. The US is not the caretaker of the world.
: : : Everyone says "well Saddam is evil", well there are other evil dictators in this world. China for one still does public beheadings, yet we aren't at war with China. Gee, could it be because China doesn't sit on top of all that oil? Hmm.
: : : Bush is nothing more than a puppet for his elusive shadow government (which he has mentioned in multiple interviews) that has an agenda we probably couldn't even dream of, but that agenda apparently includes finishing up what daddy started.
: : : Whether anyone see's Fahrenheit 9-11, whether you agree with Michael Moore's assessment or not, there were facts in that movie. If you listen closely to the publicly disputed stuff, they have nothing solid to base their dislike on. Its just the typical "sheeple" who would rather follow along blindly & hope our president & political situation really does care about the common man. Yeah, like that'll happen in our lifetime. But for some people its easier to live in that bubble & shout "you are anti-american" because I (or others) have a brain and can see that with President Bush, things are not even close to adding up right.
: : : Ok I'm climbing back down off my soap box & getting ready for all the garbage to be thrown my way.
: :
: : No garbage here man, nothing but applause for those statements comes from my corner.
: I mean ma'am, sorry read the wrong name when i first noticed the post :P my apologies
