You have every reason to expect that they would use cups that don't crush in your hand when you pick it up. They should have paid more. I too was burned when a cup crushed in my hand and burnt the heck out of me. I had blisters all over my hand. I didn't sue, but I should have. The pain was horrible and the blisters lasted for days. It was a Burger Kings. The coffee also didn't need to be that hot as there is no way that you can drink coffee that is scalding hot anyway.
