I believe that what most of the people were getting at was the level of disrespect that these individuals showed. Also if it were a different group of kids, the punishment may have been a tad more harsh. And no, the punishment did not fit the crime. Their parents would have raised some serious hell if say something they owned that valuable was destroyed. Besides, who knows what else kids may start doing seeing the slap on the wrists these kids got. Wake up a little. I'm around those kids age and know a few of them. Stupidity only breeds more stupidity, how about someone nips it in the bud, eh?
