I've got some exciting news to pass along to you today. Last night at the School board meeting the board voted unanimously to allow Harvest Community Church to use West Hills Elementary School for our new meeting place. As many of you know and have been praying, we have outgrown Kenny B's. We have been praying and asking the Lord to give us a new location that would accommodate more people. The Lord has answered our prayers!
This coming Sunday 3-28-99 will be our last Sunday at Kenny B's. We will start our services at West Hills Elementary School starting Easter Sunday. As you can imagine, we have a tremendous amount of work to accomplish in a short amount of time. Please be praying for the servant team as we meet tonight to plan the transition to West Hills. We will need a great deal of help and prayer.
I believe the Lord is calling us as a church family to fast and pray for our Easter services. If God would lead you to fast and pray either for a meal or a day for HCC, I would invite you to join us as we seeks Gods will and direction and blessing for our service on Easter Sunday.
Things are going well on reaching our goal of 200. Last Sunday there were 132 in worship. Praise the Lord for the way He is adding to the church each week. Cheryl and I have been compiling a list of people that we know who do not go to church. I encourage you to start making a "hit list" of people you would like to see in church on Easter Sunday. Now is the time to start inviting.
Please start to pass the praise along to everyone that you come in contact with that God has answered our prayer and we are going to start meeting at West Hills Elementary School starting Easter Sunday.
