times since I had moved to visit friends, but they all also eventually

The places my sisiter and I used to frequent are long gone,
and replaced by something else. There was a small diner on the hill
on main st. where all my friends and I used to go on weekends
for fries and a side of gravy, people here look at me like I'm
insane when I order that here. The old Allens Drug store
where we used to get fountain drinks, Cherry Cokes,Choc cokes
and such, closed about 1-2 yrs. ago. At least thats what I was
told. I was there for 3 days and only say 3 people I knew
other than the immediate family. Now that is sad.
It just doesn't feel the same or look the same.
All the stores, and the building on the West Hill, the new roads and Bridge
canhardly believe it. Now, I look and wonder why I left in the first place.
Funny how my greatgrand father was born there and buried there,
my father was born there as was all 5 of us kids, and my mother
yet I cann't find hardly anyone, who can remember the family.
I wasn't real popular, but I did have a lot of friends
and aquaintances.
Well nice to revisit home. I check the website frequently

Now I know how OUT of towners feel. When I first hung out on this site I was living in Kittanning.
