: Should they publish pictures of the caskets coming back from Iraq?

REPLY: I don't have a problem with showing anonymous coffins draped with the flag. No one can sit back and say THAT IS MY SON. I think that when stories are done about a SPECIFIC person (ie the football player) there SHOULD be a way for family members to control or approve what gets on the air.

If a family is OK with media coverage, then our opinions don't play a role. Before a fallen soldier's picture is plastered across TV screens, I feel the military should have to cantact immediate family and secure a release. If the family doesn't want the picture released, the media shouldn't be allowed to use it.
