: ps. People got side-tracked on this thread. The real issue concerning the beginning this thread has nothing to do with higher education. I'd wager that the person who started this thread is just some angry idiot who lacks the vocabulary necessary to accurately express whatever it is that's bothering him or her about Kittanning. And the use of the term "homo" also shows his or her level of maturity. I would wager a considerable amount that the person that started this thread has absolutely no experience with "higher education" what-so-ever.
MR T What kind of industry has ever been in Kittanning that required a collage education.Making brick's,delivering milk and ice cream to the store's,Working in the five and ten,Working at wal mart,Making glass at PPG,Elger pottery,All it took to do either one of these jobs was a little common sence.I have nothing against a college education.But tell me what good it is going to do to spend all that money on your kid and have him hang around Kittanning and work at Wal Mart.I dont think a few college degree's will bring good paying jobs into Kittanning.
