: 1. she can get pregnant, he can't. (he or his parents have to pay childsupport til the child is either 18 or out of college. *or otherwise immancipated)
Ok. Then I offer, BOTH of these children can get STDs. Hmmm. Young Jimmy "thinks" he's in love with young Jenny (fictitious names here, people). He decides to have sex with her but what he doesn't know is that she has already had sex with someone who is HIV positive. Little Jimmy then contracts AIDS and dies. Now you're telling me that she couldn't be charged because HE couldn't get PREGNANT?!?!?!
Hmmm... maybe you've just solved the age old discussion of why a girl who sleeps around is called a slut while a guy who does the same is a stud. Thanks.
: 2. at the ripe old age of 14 they can have sex (its the legal age of consent in this state). *scarey isn't it?
I'm not an expert on this but I thought there were 2 age differentials: one at 14 and then another at 18. Hopefully, someone can clear this up.
Again, it would help to know what age band we're talking about here.
