If the spam was bugging you that badly then just don't come back to the site or just ignore those spam messages. I hate the spam too but I just scroll downward until I get to some normal messages. I think you were wrong for taking it upon yourself to just make up a new board without Carl's permission or approval. I like this board just fine and I don't know why you or anyone else is trying to divide up everyone. You say you aren't but that's what it seems like to me. You've been saying for some time now about going to this other place--other web site so people have to sign in, etc....I'm sorry but I'm sure you will end up finding spam on your board too. And how would you like if someone came in and tried to take over your board? You may think you were trying to help Carl but I say don't help unless you are asked to help. I think Carl & Julie handled things fine on this board.
Did you look at the other board, give it a look, you might like it, they have more moderators to get rid of the spam and junk, I think it is a good idea, you don't have to reveal your name or email, so there is no problem, it does seem like someone is spamming this board to disrupt things
