REPLY: This is the unfortunate underbelly of our free society .. we have to allow ourselves to be annoyed in order to be free ourselves.
All the recent debate about the NATIONAL NO-CALL LIST is a prime example .. even though we are all annoyed by those tele-marketers .. I personally HAVE signed up on the NO CALL list .. many folks sense danger when government regulations are set against specific industries.
Common courtesy SHOULD prevent pushy salespeople from harassing us .. but it doesn't .. they are BUSINESS people .. not students of courtesy or manners.
These spam posts are the same thing .. if someone can make like ONE PENNY by posting that crap to 1,000 message boards everyday .. they WILL TRY .. thank all those WORK FROM HOME ads ya see in the classifieds !!
Hopefully they go ahead with the NO JUNK-E-MAIL list .. then we can work on the NO-POP-UPS list .. the NO JUST-CLICK-HERE ADS list .. the NO DOOR-TO-DOOR ANYTHING list .. etc
