: : With all this snow and frigid weather latly, lets not forget to feed out feathered friends!!
: Charles when I lived on Orr Ave I threw bread and bird seed out on the street for the bird's.What bread the bird's diden't get the stray cat's got at night. There was never a mess, But I was told I could be fined for littering the street's. I had bird's that would come up and set on the banister of the porch and churp at me setting on the swing, Wanting food,If I wasent on the porch they would land on the window seal and look in the window.Feeding those little guy's is a rewarding experiance.Im not sure how many baby birds I have seen hatched and grew up in that little spot. Some time I think every bird in Kittanning was there, there were so many. But what I looked for the most was the first robin to come to eat, A sure sign spring was on the way.So if any one lives on Orr Ave close to my bird's, Please give them some food. They can be better friends then some of the people I know.,,,,,,,I love on Johnston Ave and on my hill bank I had three bird feeders and a sqirrel feeder.I think all your birds came to my house when you moved.I couldn't keep up feeding them.I'm down to one big bird feeder.I feed them all year around and the Jays are my favorite to watch. They were waiting for me this morning!!
