I have lived in many places since living in Kittanning. I consider it my hometown. I lived there in the mid to late 60's thru early 70's. My dad was YMCA Director during that time. I was on swim team there. We lived on Chestnut St. very close to the college. During the summer me and my friens would bike hike out to Buttermilk Falls quite a bit. I consider Kittanning the place I grew up both mentally and physically. My family moved when I was in 10th grade but I will cherish having lived in such a beautiful community.
