: Speaking of taxes ... does anyone know what the 1% per capita tax actually benefits. Since no one at Central Tax Bureau of Pa Inc can tell me. They did say 1/2 goes toward School Tax? I thought we already paid school tax.
: When will County Commissioners or Council (or who ever decides that) to join the 20 other Pa Counties who have got rid of Central Tax Bureau of Pa Inc. Isn't it funny that we are one of 47 out of 67 Counties in Pa that still has Central Tax Bureau Inc on payroll to assist our local tax collectors in doing their job. Why even have the locals.
I think to other 1/2 goes to local towmships and boros.
