I don't have a boat or boat dock, but if I did you better believe I would have insurance to cover both. Not having insurance is like playing Russian Roulette. If someone falls on the sidewalk in front of my house, I can be held liable. What does boat docks have to do with trails? You really have no clue about liability or property rights. Visit the library!
