: As I read your article, i became interested in the logic of it all. I practice hypnosis and self-hypnosis, thus very interested in the mind. You have done some research which is admirable, however, if you had not tried to incorporate it into the corporate world it would have been great. To say all that you said and then to equate it with filling out a resume or application for a job, is rather sad. Why does everything have to be around corporate interests? What about, just for the interests of the people?
: Can't it just be interesting, do we have to equate everything with making money?? If I miss read your intent, I apologize.
Hi Sam. I think you may have missed my point. I appreciate the interest though. I was very intrigued by the text and just sat down and thought it out a little.
I am one of "those" people on this board who enourages everyone to "be their best" and to pay attention to the little things (ie spelling and grammar).
I believe the original post was to point out that spelling doesn't matter and that people like me should just shut up and go away. Sorry folks, it's not happening.
My "rebuttal" was the wisecrack about going for a job interview, misspelling every word (over 3 letters of course) on the application and then watching the reaction you'd get from the prospective employer. Probably not a good one.
I am with you on our plight of corporate greed and everything being about money. But that was not my intention with my "research".
If you find any more info on this topic, feel free to post as I'd be interested in the results of tests such as these.
