: : : Do you own property? If so, are you willing for your taxes to be raised to maintain a trail and pay for insusrance?
: : : Do you own a car and buy gasoline? How do you feel that 10% of the tax paid per gallon is used for Rails to Trails? Would you like to see 100% of the gas tax to improve roads? Cars use GAS--Bikes NO GAS!
: : : If you see trash and junk cars, call the police they will issue a citation. The new chief is doing an excellent job of cleaning up problem areas. Call him with your concern. Or post the areas on here so we all know where the trash and junk cars are. More calls will get the job done faster.
: : I got a problem with the "junk car" citations. Sure if they are on the street, that should be ticketed. BUT I pay taxes and if I have a car that is not inspected because I am working on it,that doesn't give anyone the right to ticket me! If it is in my own yard, out of anyone's way WHY should I get a ticket for this??
: Do they ticket cars that are being worked on? If they are thats not right. Ive been there done that.
I was told they ticket cars that are uninspected and no plates on them. But if they are on your property how can they justify this? I understand there are places that have more than one car and it looks like a junk yard. I have one car on my property and I'm just waiting to see what they do... I think I'll be calling a lawyer if I get a ticket..
