HOT DOG SAUCE
2 lbs. ground meat (browned)
3/4 lb. ground suet (optional)
2 onions, diced
1/8 cup salt
1 small box chili powder
1 Tablespoon cloves (2tsp. for less spicy)
1 Tablespoon pepper
1 Tablespoon nutmeg (2tsp. for less spicy)
1 small box paprika
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 14oz. bottle ketchup
7 cups water
1 cup flour mixed with an additional cup of water
Add ingredients to browned ground meat and simmer 2 hours in a 6 quart
uncovered pan.
Makes 5 quarts
Freezes well.
