By the time they get to me, they are high school kids who read on a four
grade level.
I cannot teach writing by the time they are 16 years old.
Parents need to do their part, teachers need to do their part, and
TOGETHER we can produce a society of well educated adults.
Get rid of the M-TV and most of the technology that makes kids sit indoors
instead of getting out and exercising and MAYBE we will have a fighting
chance.
Does anyone remember having to use a typewriter and only having 3
television stations to choose from? What about sitting outside at night
with the neighbors, or taking a walk after dinner (with the WHOLE family
present)?
Man, where did those days go?
