I've not forgotten our discussion via email. Have someone else that is a long time res. looking for your info.
> Hi, To start with, I was adopted, and years later I did a search through the Childrens Home of Pittsburgh who handled the adoption and they found my birth mother "around the Kittanning area". Due to the state laws, she could not tell me more than that. I was able to find out a few more facts though. (Excuse the spelling) My last name was Semolsky or Simolski (see-mole-skee) and my mother had named me Frank before leaving me at the Zoar Home on the North Side. Her first name was Mary Jane and she came from a family of, I believe, 4 brothers and sisters total. They were able to find her at "a place of business" where they sent the letter. I am not looking for anything more than to know where I came from and to have a past at age 48. I also know she has a daughter and that means I really DO have a sister.
> Can anyone help me? Does any of this information ring any bells? I was born December 19, 1954 and I think she was 18-20 at that time. We dont know who the father was.
