Hi, my suggestions to you and your friend would be as follows: The County Seat is a good restaurant in downtown Kittanning and the address is South Grant right below the Court House. Incidentally, they serve delicious hot roast beef sandwiches smothered with lots and lots of gravy if that is one of your "likes". Of course, an all time favorite is The Villa located in Cadogan. Their Italian cuisine is wonderful. Miller's Hoagies has very good sandwiches if you are interested in that type of meal--they are located on 140 N. Jefferson St. Hope this helps you out.
