Ray,

I wasn't meaning to pick on you but I spoke to a young man from my church a couple of years ago... he said the local attitude is "spelling is not a major subject". I disagree because if my company hires people locally to represent my company globally, I'm absolutely sure I want words spelled correctly. The Leader-Times gets badmouthed by the public for bad spelling and they aren't the only ones. The best place to start fixing the problem is "get their attention". I apologize for not somehow de-personalizing my comment. It's a regional attitude fix that's needed, my opinion.

Second, I would appreciate help finding good businesses or potentially good businesses so we can help them.

Third, I appreciate the fact you're on here stating your opinions. We need more like you.

Can you imagine buying a Whirlpul washer and dryer? You can BET that incorrect spelling has a toll. I've taken companies off my supplier list simply for bad spelling on their websites... what other details are they NOT paying attention to?

> Well Carl, I never did claim to be perfect and not the best speller in the world,But I have survived for sixty six year's doing the best I could.
