It seems like we are wasting away to a ghost town ! Now I just heard they did a big layoff at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital today , and that really scares me...How do you keep moral up when everything is falling apart around here? Is there anything the commissioners are doing to bring jobs into the area.? ..All the graduates are going off to college soon ! What for? To come back here and get a job...? I don't think so.....!
Most all of our 18-35 year olds are OUT OF STATE, working,living, and wishing they could come back in their home towns to raise their young families..But we have nothing to offer them......Plans to build a new school ? For our children, our grandchildren, their children? Where have all the children gone ? Does anyone know where our town is heading?
Then I read "Can't give away FREE popcycles to the kids ! Now come on !How petty can we get ???..........Since when does a town festival committee tell you what you can do as a nice gesture ???? I say , do it anyway.....Sit on a porch , on private property and Be kind..........I just don't know when this will all end, or how it can end. ? What do you think ? I think we need NEW BLOOD that will "GO FOR IT" and let us live again...........Bring in jobs, Cut our Taxes, Quit freeloading, and Produce. Help the young come back and the seniors keep their homes and their pride....... I will close now.....But I am still thinking !!!!
