Bush is more savvy than Clinton? Welp, when I think of savvy, George W. Bush sure comes to my mind!!! The guy can barely put two sentences together.
Granted I don't think the "weapons of mass destruction" was the real reason we went into Iraq either. But bottom line, I don't care what the reason is for going into Iraq, all I care about is what the result is. As I'm sure no one in Armstrong County gives a crap about the Iraqi's but I certainly am happy that the second coming of Hitler was taken out of power. God only knows what he would have done given a little more time. Do I think the war was "all about the oil", yes I do but if they happen to free oppressed people at the same time, fine by me. The fight against a tyrant who tortures & kills women & children will be won and as an extra bonus, gas prices will go down. It's not as if our men & women died for nothing. Look at the bigger picture!!!! Stop worrying about your little corner of the world only. What Saddam did to those people was unthinkable and he should have been stopped.
Bottom line, Clinton was scum and GWB isn't much better. You can't be president and be a "nice" guy, it's impossible to do. There are skeletons in every president's closet. I think Bush was possibly used by the CIA to get us into this war, by the sounds of things. Wouldn't be the first time it ever happened (aka Vietnam).
