I doubt it is employee theft. When I worked at Wal-Mart during the first couple nights of holiday shopping our manager followed someone with a big box in their cart and because he followed he kept them from walking out with it and when he put the stuff back he found that they had opened the box and took out what was in there and filled it with video games and CDs. I couldn't believe it. The other problem that I remember is that a dolly was left out and someone loaded up a tv and walked right out with it. Shortly after that they added the out door people greeter. If someone got out with a computer, the people greeter must not have been there.
