Just passing along ifo about the group BONEPONY from Nashville area ... I have listened to them for 5 years, they have two CD's out ... Scott Paulsen of WDVE fame is also a big fan of them
They play what they call POWER FOLK or STOMP music ... basically rock-style music played on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and banjo
I recently traveled to Nashville to see them live, and the shows were UNbelievable ... their music and energy would be GREAT additions to local events such as the Folk, Festival, Heritage Days or even the Dayton Fair
Also any bar/clubs interested in a 3-man band would do well to check them out
