I must agree, we are in need of change regarding our commissioners'. Neither Dunmire nor Scahill have the vision to better this county. Jobs continue to leave this area as well as the young people. What action have they taken-a few industrial parks employing a limited number of people. The number of new jobs created does not compare to the number of jobs or young people the county has lost. What are the current commissioners' doing to correct this problem-nothing. In a few more years, Armstrong County will resemble a ghosttown. Who do we have to blame-past and current commissioners who have done little for the people of this county.
Now that we have this new jail, how many additional people had to be employed? Notlong before they will have to raise taxes to pay for the loan on the jail and employee cost.
It's time for both Dunmire and Scahill to step down because they lack the ability to better this county.
