I think that another local paper would be great as well! I read the L-T for the local events, announcements, births, classifieds and obituaries. I like the L-T, but can't see paying 50 cents a day. They say it's because of all the 'extras'...most of which I do not read. I am also angry that they make me take the Sunday paper! I tried to have them stop delivery, but they told me that I HAD to take it in order to keep my subscription to the weekly paper!! Now, wouldn't they save money if they let those who don't want the Sunday paper cancel it? I know of many people who do not want it.
