Once again, I think certain people control the festival, such as the YMCA. The big wigs there do not want people moving away from the vendors to listen to music at the ampitheater, they are afraid that people will just listen to the music and not spend their money. In reality, the music is a mess, and causes so much confusion and congestion that I know plenty of people who don't go to the festival because the walk ways are so darn crowded. Also there is such limited seating and having to carry your own chair is bad for people especially the seniors. I think that if the vendors were divide up between the two areas of the park it would be nice, also dividing similliar booths between both areas would be nice. It gets pretty boring seeing the same stuff right next to eachother. Or put the food by the music, or closer together, that way if a family wants a different food item, they could at least get a seat and eat together. Like you said joe, one can only wish....
