Not the place to be when the ice broke loose up-river at East Brady each spring. Maybe my geography is a little off, but I recall that Linde is located further down the Allegheny from Applewald, kind of across from the area known as Garrett's Run. I passed it every day on the school bus from Route 422 going to and from Lenape, and we didn't go anywhere near Applewald on the bus. We had some friends in Applewald, Nancy and Norman Karp, so I'm pretty familiar with the area. Is my geography right, or am I just losing my mind at the tender age of 32? :-)
