I think a super school is a super mistake. Would you want your kid, or yourself if you were school age, want to spend an hour + riding a schoolbus each day? I sure know I wouldn't. And what about all the buildings that are being used now? What would become of them? Would they sell them? Fat chance. They will probably sit there and rot. I've lived in many towns and many school districts, and i've seen it happen more than once. They build new, close the old, and it just sits there. Nothing being done with it. What could anyone in this county possibly do with buildings that size, especially Ford City. I know it's huge, it's one of the several high schools I attended. It will just sit and if something happens it will continue to be the taxpayers responsibility. If Elderton wants their school, let them have their school. Let them take care of it. Same with Ford City and Kittanning. Like I said, I attended several high schools, and I found that I had the best learning experience with a small school.
