: I have both interests. My children are more important than taxes...whoever asked the question wanted one answer or the other. DUH! I am a parent - how else would I answer.
: If you want all the information, come to the meetings, look at the ASD real web site. This message board cannot begin to give you all the information you are looking for. There is years of information.
: As for calling names...come on.
Well I didn’t think you would provide any proof because your argument is solely an emotional one. I did go to the ASD web site and I encourage everyone to go to the FAQ site here, http://tinyurl.com/6x3nsk, which is dated May 02, 2008. It shows your argument of 2-4 hour bus rides was an execration, the longest bus ride will be 60 minutes but the average will be 41 minutes. It also shows that you were not truthful when you said the education opportunities would be the same at either school, in thruth students coming from EHS would be offered more classes than they have now at EHS, at West Shamokim and Ford City. It also shows that 28.5 teaching positions, one administrative position, and approximately 12 support staff positions will be eliminated, not to mention the savings from utilities, so I can’t see how that wouldn’t be a positive action for taxpayers.
See, you have offered absolutely no proof for your argument except to call people who don’t agree with your position “clueless”. I think what you did prove is you will do and say anything to “Help Elderton Remain Open”.
