The Riverfront Ampitheater is a good start .. but we could use a good
year-round multi-purpose venue.
In planning my Cancer Sux event .. the biggest challenge was WHERE to
have it .. by late September the Belmont has been iced over .. some great
spots for outdoor concerts are hampered by nearby housing .. I
heard "GREAT IDEA, but do it somewhere else" from several venues I talked
to .. others were interested but didn't have parking available .. or the
needed power supply .. or .. yada yada
Maybe the Kittanning Konvention arena in on the horizon ?? .. we have a
TON of potential there I think .. good access to DaBurgh .. but some
scenery available too .. quaint yet convenient .. close AND not too far ..
outta the way, but on the main drag .. (need help with the cliche train !!)
