Yes, the comment was made in jest - hence the winking smiley ;)
But after thinking about it, if public money IS used for the building of this much needed arena, it would make sense for ALL counties in Western PA to put somehting into the kitty. I'm not talking about a lot but just something as I am sure the surrounding counties to Allegheny get some enjoyment out of events held at the arena. Although, on the flip side, maybe there should just be a surcharge added to tickets purchased for events there that would even out the other counties portions.
I'm in 'whining' mode since the Stillers and Buccos got new stadiums without much ado yet I feel the Pens are going to get shafted somehow in getting a new building.
