As my brother said, we are heading for Kittanning this Saturday, August 3rd, for a family reunion. Plan to arrive at approximately 1:00 PM. Can't wait to get there, as it has been probably close to 20 years since I have been "back home". We also plan to attend the festival along the river this weekend. Really miss the old hometown. We lived in Applewold. Of course it was in the '50's, and I am not sure what it is like there anymore, but, I just know I can't wait to get there and see it. Can anyone here recommend any really good restaurants? Preferably one that has good steaks and seafood? It just feels so good to be coming back home, even if it is just for a visit. But then, ya never know, I just might like it so much, that anything could happen. GOOD OL' KITTANNING"!!!!!!!!!!!
