Hi all ..
Just confirming that Cancer Sux WILL be held on Saturday Sept 14, 2002 at the Shannock Valley Community Park in Rural Valley PA !! .. this event benefits the Asa Miller Foundation's Cancer Patient Care Fund .. proceeds will go to Kittanning area cancer patients who need some extra help.
5 bands will keep us entertained:
10:15 Terry McCauslin .. solo acoustic rock
Noon Shadow 5 .. original rock
2:00 The Badlees .. original rock
5:30 Dezzeray Black .. classic rock covers
9:00 BONEPONY .. original acoustic rock
We have several things planned as sideline attractions as well .. 50/50 drawings .. chinese auction .. Cancer Smart Shop for kids .. food and drink concessions .. party games
Since I can't raise $$$ by cutting my hair again this year .. Local tavern owner Larry Boyer is raffling off the chance to cut his trademark handlebar mustache .. he has been growing this STACHE since 1968 !! .. the damn thing is older than I am !! .. $1 per entry .. we gotta raise $2000 in order to WHACK the STACHE !!!

Tickets are on sale as of NOW !! .. $10 advance sales and $15 at the gate .. you may order by phone, e-mail or snail mail and we will hold the tix for you to pick up the day of the event.
