ASD: Dropout Factories

Kittanning, Ford City & Elderton High Schools all made the National List of 'Dropout Factories' meaning less than 60% of all Freshmen who enter those schools graduate as Seniors. Why am I not surprised? So much for the anti-Consolidation aurguement about the kids getting a better quality of education in smaller neighborhood schools. Wake up folks, even if those 3 High Schools were combined, it would STILL be a small community school. It wouldn't be like it was a Mega-High School like they have in Houston, L.A. or Chicago... the type of High Schools they use for the small VS large school statistics. Again, even if ALL the ASD schools were combined it would still statistically be a small school. Then we could proudly have just one Dropout Factory instead of three. Most of the other 'Dropout Factories' in the Nation had large minority enrollments, what's the excuse here in ASD?
