Cars pull up, some scraggly looking person runs iside,comes back out and leaves. This goes on all day. : : : : : : : : : : : : Occassionally there's an argument about stolen money and/or drugs. : : : : : : : : : : : : Last night there was a person who dove out of a second floor window because he was hit in the head with a baseball bat, supposedly after he had broken into the home. : : : : : : : : : : : : It's a matter of time before someone gets shot. State Police,Manor Township Police and the Armstrong County Drug Task Force need to step in and get these lowlifes out. : : : : : : : : : : : : There are many children who play in this neighborhood. It would be a shame for something to happen to one of them. : : : : : : : : : : : Take photos of the people goin in and out. : : : : : : : : : : : Get plate numbers. : : : : : : : : : : : Make sure these people know you are doing it. : : : : : : : : : : : They probably know the neighbors know what's going on, but if the people "visiting" the place know they are being watched, they'll probably go to another source or the source will move to another location. : : : : : : : : : : : Just some advice. : : : : : : : : : : : They might go to another site but more then likely they are so out of it they just might shoot you instead. Don't tell people to deal directly with drug addicts...do you realize how dangerous that could be...if the cops can't stop them do you think the average citized is going to be able too. I agree something should be done but don't put yourself at risk. Keep calling the cops....call anyone who are suppose to make a difference. : : : : : : : : : That's just the type of attitude that makes a neighborhood go down the tubes. : : : : : : : : : Take the photos. If they approach you and threaten you, call the cops. Then let them explain to the cops why they felt so threatened. : : : : : : : : : I suppose you feel neighborhood watches are dangerous also. They often carry cameras and record illegal activities. Are you going to tell them not to do so also? Are you really theat afraid of them? If so, they've ALREADY won. : : : : : : : : Afraid of someone with a gun? Listen Dirty Harry. This is real life, not the movies. Most of us have families. It would make a great story if we were shot and killed taking pictures of drug dealers, however we wouldn't be around to watch this wonderful show. : : : : : : : Are you really that scared? Why even promote neighborhood watches then? Just go hide in your house and ignore the problem. : : : : : : : Nobody is going to get shot because they took a picture of some local dirtbag running in and out of some shithole appartment. That would attract the one thing they don't want...more attention. If they would happen to make a threat or pull a gun...good, then the cops would finally have something to arrest them on. But guess what, if they are arrested and go to jail, they can't sell their drugs, so they aren't going to do anything to bring more attention or to get arrested. : : : : : : : I wonder why the police ask local citizens if they are willing to put surveilance cameras in their homes if it's such a dangerous idea. : : : : : : : Just hide in your house and keep complaining. A few of us in the neighborhood have done this and the people knew we were doing it. The dirtbags eventually move out. They'd rather go to a neighborhood, like yours apparently, where the neighbors turn a blind eye and simply try to wish the problem away. : : : : : The police never were able to do anything about it. The only way they can do anything is if somebody rats them out, they get a search warrant and find stuff in the house, or if they get called there for some other reason. : : : : : Also, I never said anything about "waving a camera in someone's face". No one wins by calling each other names.The bad guys will get caught or mess themselves up somehow, justice will triumph..
