Jimmers, you hit the nail on the head.
Jeff, there's a fine line between being a Christian and becoming a Jesus Freak. I was raised Catholic but do not adhere to EVERY belief in the Catholic/Christian faith. I believe, as others, that there is no one 'true' faith - but rather each faith has its own pros and cons and it truly is up to us as individuals to piece together what we feel is right. If you do not have a personal relationship with God (or whomever your personal higher being is), you're basically SOL in my humble opinion. You can be the loudest believer in your speech and actions, you can go to chruch all you want, but that doesn't get you anywhere in the long run. I believe God knows all and if you say one thing but do another, you will pay for it. I truly would rather say that I am a sinner because God already knows that.
Simple belief to live by: leave the world a better place than you found it. (please don't read into saving other person's souls as 'bettering' the world).
PS Two things. 1. I don't trust ANYONE who throws around quotes from the Bible. 2. Clouding the issue by confusing your opponent may win you the argument but not the war.
