: That bridge was in sad shape long before that. I know its on "Penndolt's" list to be done, but how much longer do we have to wait? Thats a major artery in and of Kittanning. What happens if it gets to the point that it just needs to be shut down and sit's there closed til they feel like replacing it? How long will we have to wait? Penndot seems to be more content with doing stupid shit like cutting holes in 28 then paving over them.
If memory serves, they are supposed to award contracts this fall and start some work, at least this winter. The project is to be in full swing by spring.
I was trying to find the most recent story in the paper, but haven't located just yet.
