: : Ryan - you were a little evasive. YOu didn't directly answer questions that were posed. As for having to spell things out specifically, that is exactley what people want. You have to understand that people are leary and when they hear dubble talk and evasive answers - even if that wasn't your intent - they get moe suspicious and maybe even a little protective and angry.
: : As I suggested before, if you are going to enter into discussion here, then be as straight up and real as you know how to be. I have defended you and generally support what you say your plans are. I think they need to give you a chance. I also think you need to work at building better realations by telling it straight and being careful not to give people the impression that you are shady.
: : Also, I am far from being a stickler for grammar and spelling on here because I'm usually just typing qucikly and trying to get my point across. I often don't edit what I type. However, I'm also not trying to impress anyone with my ability at this point and you are. Just trying to be helpful.
: People need to get their council members involved if they want to hear my plan. Why? Because I'm not going to break the Confidentiality agreement I have with investors, banks and tenants over an internet forum.
: Bryan, how haven't I ever been straight up? Evading questions, give me a break.
I'm not going to bother going back to find it, but when asked about the Ambulance Co. you gave an answer that was not in direct response to the question. Maybe you don't intend to do this or you think you are answering the question, but you have to be careful to address the actual content of the question. Example - (and this is just made up, not an attempt to quote anything anyone said here previously) Question : Is it your intent to spend $240 million exclusively on the production of grape drink at your new facility. Answer: Jobs in the area of fruit juice production are my main goal. Seems like a good answer maybe, but it is not directly addressing the question asked. A good way to be sure that you are answering directly is to restate the question in your answer. Example - It is my intent to spend the entire 240 million exclusively on the production of grape juice at my new facility. No room for wiggling there and everyone is clear then. Or, if you feel that it is an issue of confidentiality, you state that simply as well. "I'm currently bound by good business ethics to decline a direct answer to that question, but..." Now understand though that when you take this route, you pretty much created room for suspicion.
As far as giving you a break Ryan, I think I have been very fair and generally supportive of you. I'm just trying to help you out because there seems to be a bit of a bad impression out there about you and I'm not sure that it has been fully earned by you - at times you don't help your own cause though. You could use someone to help you with your image - make an offer and I'll come work for you and be your new PR guy.
