Today's LT letter to the editor has me a bit irritated.
Headline: "Kittanning Promotes Drinking"
I'd like to respond to Mr. Harry Crytzer's comments made in Monday's paper. Sir, with all due
respect, it is conservative comments like yours that Kittanning and Armstrong County continue to
lose their children to other counties and states for a better way of life. Mr. Frerotte did not
have to select Kittanning for this event and as the council wisely stated at their meeting, it
will be like a test run. They will evaluate each event on a case by case basis. The people in
this town and county need to quit thinking inside the box and start migrating out of it. Things
will never improve for Kittanning and Armstrong County with conservative views as old as the
Prohibition Days.
