Why not take advantage of that and have a very large food court type of place that would be accessable to boats and cars both. For entertainment, we could steer people to events in the amphitheater in Kittanning park. And then , of course, we would have to put some people to work transporting people to Kittanning and back to their boats and cars. There could also be small shops exhibiting "ethnic" crafts such as the Ukranian eggs, , a bakery shop specializing in baked goods from recipes that are authenically German, Italian, Russian, Polish, etc. In other words " if lifew gives you lemons, why not make lemonade?"
I see that there is another "sam " on here so I'll go by "old dog". One of the things I like best about Ford City is it's diversity. There is almost every nationality represented. A real melting pot. Sure hope something can be done to boost the economy. We need ideas, not criticism. Let's fight nice, folks
