My wife and I are new to the Kittanning are (1 month) moving from Lancaster PA. We fell in love with Kittanning as soon as we saw it. Although there are places that could use some work, but hey hopefully in time.
I bring with me a Christian ministry called the Resource Center for Theological Research. We are an Evangelical minstry specialize in equipping people to defend Christianity in the market-place of ideas. A lot of what we do is train congregation and individuals to be able to defend Christianity against cults, atheist, etc...
Hopefully in the near future we will be holding seminars in the area. We have tackled issues such as the reliability of the Bible, the historic fact of Christ's resurrection, the differences between LDS (Mormons) and historic Christianity.
Our last seminar, which was held in Lancaster PA was titled "New Age and Occult Influences on the Church and Culture" in which we had a former Astrologer help us address some of these issues. All our seminars are free. We just want to get the material into your hands.
If you have a cultist come to your door and you are not equipped to deal with them, give us a call, we help you. If you would like to know more about the truth of Christianity and how other World-views do not comport with reality, give us a call. If you have a question on a theological, apologetic, ethic topic let us know.
