The owners of small business take risks the employees would never take. They work hours no one else will work. Sacrifice like it's expected of them, never call off, work when their sick and they still provide jobs. But most anyone ever does is complain about how much their boss takes home every year.

And, I don't know anyone(employees or employers), except three lottery winners, that don't deserve every penny they have. That's why it's called earned income. You want more, earn more. If OEM can earn more in Butler, they should go for it.

: : : : : : You hit it right on the head guy. The entiltlement folks think things should be handed to them. I recently ran a ad in the Leader Times in kittanning for a maintenance man. Sure I can only afford to pay $15.00 to start, but that is not that bad a wage. You want to know how many resumes I got?? 0 that's right 0. This take from the guys who have worked hard for their living and give to the guy who does NOT want to work bullcrap is just that.

I have seen you say before people didn't want this job or that and if things were really bad, they should take it but maybe the job requires much more than the pay is.

: : : : Different position and nope actually had to go online at the unemployment to find candidates. fortunately the position has been filled. Plus, I expect when someone is paid a hourly rate they work hourly. there is no such thing as too MUCH work unless you are lazy.

: 1st thing I am not paid hourly..Paid Salary...@nd thing, 2nd thing takes 2 minutes to look at the board. My whole reason for the post was because of people coming on here and dissing the area saying they can not find a job. I do believe most people who want to work are working.
First things first, if I was your boss you would be outside looking in. It doesn’t matter how you are paid you are stealing from your employer playing on the internet while being paid by someone else. It takes longer than 2 minutes to read all these post and respond to them. Things must be pretty cushy where you work if you have time to play on the internet instead of working. Maybe it’s time for your employer to install computer monitoring software to track what you do online.
