: : : : : : If it's such a dump, then why do you want it? Where did you get the $25M? Do you know the definition of a Brownfield? It's a site that has foundations from former buildings. The PPG property is not a toxic waste dump. If you did your homework you would know there's an Act2 clearance on the property. Oh wait, you probably do know that. If you truly care about Ford City, why do you have to own the property to help the town?

: : : : : I've wanted to fix that property since high school.

: : : : : My 25M came through service revenues of my financial investment group, The Rysc Group, private and personal investment and debt.

: : : : : I am well aware that it was not a toxic waste dump, but it did contain contamination such as BTEX that PPG put deed restrictions in, such as no food prep on the land.

: : : : : I feel that Ford City got screwed on the Act 2 clearance but it doesn't surprise me one bit. I feel that PPG cleaned the property is the fastest and least expensive way, just putting a bandaid on the problem to get the clearance.

: : : : : If I am putting my money, my time and my effort into the FC project, why wouldn't I owe the property. If FC had the leadership and business savvy, we could discuss, but I can clearly see its not there.

: : : :
: : : : maybe if you had leadership and business savvy, they would take you seriously.

: : : : I think I have leadership and possibly business savvy - I just got no $$$. Lets get together Ryan. I'm pretty likable and might be able to take some of the heat away from you. But then again, if they look into past associations so thoroughly I might have a few problems of my own. But hey, for my cut in a $25 mil. venture, I'll give it a try. I really am concerned about Ford City and surrounding communities and have been a life long resident. Align yourself with me and we'll see if we can get anywhere. IF you do anything unethical or anything to attempt to hurt the area, they can rest assured that I will deal with you and set you straight.

: : Bryan, you are taking this out of the scope of what is being here. I agree that nobody on this board is free from past associations with shady people, but that is not the discussion here. We are talking about people who Bloser currently "aligns" himself with either have a direct or indirect association with the borough or the property. We are not trying to dig up things from 30 years ago.

: : Let me ask you, Bryan, if Joe Doe comes up and states that he wants to purchase the PPG property and he deems two close associates from the MACADOO investment property, would you be VERY leery to let him purchase the land? You would not weigh anything on who Joe Doe is associating with? I am sorry, bryan, but if you say no, then you are a total fool.

: : What makes you think these people have the best interests for Ford City as a community in the same level of making a profit? One of them has no clue about the town, the people, or anything else. I have asked time and time again what qualifications they have so that we can trust them and their intentions. There has been silence on this issue. Were they successful in other communities? What positions did they hold? Bloser knows them so maybe he can tell us.

: : I realize I am oversimplifying it, but I do so to make a point. I think you are overcomplicating it - too far in the other direction. I don't know Ryan Bloser from anyone. I do know that he is being treated rather poorly. Does he deserve it? I don't know. The point I was trying to make though is that the borough should do its homework on his financial stability, his background, and his business plan. Take it all into account for sure. If he really leaves that bad a taste in everyone's mouths, I suppose there is probably a good reason. But make sure its nt just a few unfair people twisting things around because they have some personal ill feelings. Bottoom line is that if he has the money to infuse our economy and get something started down there, then we have to consider his offer seriously because right now, there ain't nuttin goin on around here but people disapearing.

I could agree with what you are saying, BUT if this whole deal is being done just to justify a few special interests, then it is abbd deal for everybody.

I will take your advice and pose a question for Bloser. Is Ford City Ambulance one of the prospective businesses you are looking to relocate in that property? If so, is this just for a headquarters for their operations or possibly other options? If so, what other usage are they looking into for that particular business?
