It hits home when you see the amount of money on the notice and it becomes apparent that you don't get much in return.
We pay much more than the taxpayers 30 years ago and we (and the students) get only as much as they did 30 years ago. Some would argue that students get even less opportunity and choice than 30 years ago because we have thousands and thousands of fewer students in the district.
