: : : : Could someone please give a rational reason why the Borough is in need of another building.

: : : : Now the citizens will be responsible for paying utility bills and maintaining another Borough building. Where is the money coming from? The tenants of the unoccupied industrial buildings or are they banking on buying another building will boast the local economy.

: : : We need to stop this at all costs! It was never brought in front of the Boro to vote on? Isn't that illegal? Thought there was an investigation from the Mayor into this?

: : : I am glad I moved out of the Boro but hate to see what they are doing to my parents.

: : : : How long before the state will need to step-in and take over Ford City because of poor decision by our elected officials.

: : 10-1 not a one of you will show at the meeting or voice your opinion to a coucil member or write a letter of protest.

: My parents voted for Tom Shaffer and Renee lost. They are doing this just to spite the borough.

I just read in the paper today that the boro was trying to buy that large bldg for only 1200/mo with 150K at 4.7%. Isn't there someone who could buy that place and make it a profitable office bldg instead of the boro? Would the diocese want too much more from a private investor? Is it riddled with asbestos or what? That's a great price as long as.... You know what I mean. It could work for a private investor, but why hasn't it?
