When I spoke with the president the other day about a employment need, he told me to put the ad in the Kittanning Paper. I like the employees you hired from over there. Might not mean much to some, but it made me feel good knowing that two guys from Ford City could have that kind of impact. I for one will continue to throw the hometown guys a bone. They deserve it. At my last job I managed a bunch of folks from Butler. I found them to be lazy and rude. It is amazing the difference 25 miles can make in work ethic.

: I hear ya. My father worked at Eljer for 38 years. I also worked at Eljer as a laborer. They were for the most part great guys to work with. It is a shame to see them go. I also worry about my mothers health insurance thru them. I always look for Sun to pull that away from the retirees and their spouses. That will truly be a shame.

Sun? Is that who bought Eljer?
